Thank you so much for your help with my utility bill. I am so thankful for your ministry. I attend a local church and we support Mercy's Gate. Never thought I would need your services, but so thankful that God has provided for me through you. I especially want to thank the volunteers for their understanding and kindness and for praying for me and my situation. I could truly see that these volunteers love the Lord. Also, thank you for the food I received that day.

I am so appreciative at this time of need. We sold everything to move for a new start to get away from violence. It is nice to know that people volunteer their time to help other . . . God bless all members, volunteers, and donors as our family is truly thankful for assistance with food.

The evening before the Health Fair and Back-to-School Program our dental provider had to cancel. This was a huge disappointment as dental screening is a very popular and important health screening provided at the Fair. While setting up the next morning, one of Mercy's Gate's regular volunteers happened to overhear that the dental provider had canceled. Bill piped up that he was a retired dentist and that his wife Betty, who was also volunteering at the Fair that day, was a retired dental assistant and that they would be happy to conduct the screenings. God provided willing hearts and the right skills, and Bill and Betty performed 56 dental screenings!

Mercy’s Gate has given me more than hope and faith. When I walked in searching for help, lost and hurt, they embraced me with open arms. They are helping me and my family more than I could hope for. I feel cared for and now I won’t struggle. This is an amazing place.
